Tod Sockman joined the Rynocare Team on November 02, 2020 after a successful law enforcement career. Tod is a retired California Chief of Police with 23 years of public service. Prior to Tod’s civilian law enforcement career he honorably served ten years on active duty in the United States Air Force as a K9 Law Enforcement Specialist. Tod is married and loves his family. He is an avid weightlifter, loves gardening, and any opportunity to be in the great outdoors.

Tod has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice Management from Union Institute and University; he is a graduate to the FBI National Academy; and, attended the National Fire Academy.

“I have been blessed with so many unique opportunities in life. One of the most memorable was spending the day as a Ball Dude, shagging foul balls, on the field, during a SF Giants vs. LA Dodgers game.”

Andy enjoys the outdoors. He especially likes teaching kids to hunt and fish. Passing on the great traditions of hunting and fishing to today's youth has become a real passion of Andy's.

What inspires Andy most are kind, thoughtful and genuine people. Andy's most favorite thing while working at Rynocare is the staff itself. Andy truly believes in the Rynocare team. The employees are hard working and real team players. They have all helped develop a positive, inclusive and meaningful culture and work environment.

Andy was born at O'Conner Hospital in San Jose, CA., and grew up in Aptos, CA. If it was not for his 'Pedal to the Metal' father flying over HWY 17, Andy would have been born in the back seat of his family's station wagon somewhere on HWY 17.

Andy has three heroes. His lovely wife Laura, his studly but at times dorky son Tyler, and his stunningly gorgeous daughter Marina. Andy looks up to all three and feels blessed to be an intricate part of their lives.

Andy loves to dance. Especially to loud 70's disco while he's cooking in the kitchen. His family thinks it's hilarious, but what they don't know is that he is NOT trying to be funny!

Before Andy worked at Rynocare, he was a surgical sales representative. He worked alongside a variety of surgical specialists. Spine; Ortho. (total joints); Sports Medicine; Trauma.

Geoffrey Shields likes to spend his free time skiing, hiking, mountain biking and being outdoors. He is inspired in life by waking up with a purpose and drive.

Geoff is passionate about medical waste. Geoff knows the importance of the "Trash man”. Geoff often ask to imagine what the world would be like if the people that take our trash (medical waste) away didn't come to work? Well, Geoff imagines that all the time! That is why he is passionate about making sure medical waste is always picked up in a timely fashion, treated properly and disposed of in the proper manner.
